    Default FIVE books to give away (with a catch!)

    Here it is my scurvy ridden friends, I have a few books inherited as various value adds by local sellers.

    I savour the second hand market and part of that is they are always extra keen to give away their treasures as part of the bargain.

    So, here I have FIVE books that are either doubled up or "not in flavour" to my library.

    Ok, now the sales job is done, here is the hook. I'm saving for a bandsaw. Every sale goes closer to the ideal of replacing my 10" restored older-343-style machine. It's not bad, per se, but it's no what I need in moving towards a full time hobby!

    Make a reasonable and non-trivial offer and each/either/some/all and expect postage to cover and they are yours.

    Send me a PM, make an offer and if it's non-trivial it's yours.

    - don't rip me and there will be respect
    - don't buy them/each unless you really want them. Let someone who really wants them for love/learning/memories take them if you doubt

    Evan, I'll put my hand up for the Peter Child book, depending on the inspirational "catch".

    Possible catches: Pay for Postage
    Trade a suitable size turning blank
    Request a board of PurpleHeart or Australian Red Cedar . . . Mine won't fit Aus Posts limits so not an option for me.
    Cut some 75mm sanding disks - I've got to cut another batch of 120/180 tomorrow anyway.

    - the Caftsman Woodturner. Peter Child. 1997. 246 pages. Absolutely 10/10 as new condition
    - the woodworkers Handbook. Dust cover with hard cover. The London College Of Furniture. 1984. 9/10 condition (dust cover has trivial injuries). 216 pages. *
    - Wood Turning, the purpose of the object. Stephen Hogbin. Hard cover with dust jacket. As new 10/10. 83 pages
    - Modern Wood Turning. Gordon Stokes. Hard cover, pristine cover, 128 pages, 1982
    - Woodworking and Carpentry for Australians. Brian Haines and Terry Smith. 1983. Paper cover. an absolutely pristine school textbook, 294 pages
    - Turning Wood with Richard Raffan, 164 pages, Taunton press 1990(?). Soft cover. 9/10 condition

    * This looks like an absolutely fantastic book. What a work of love. There are thousands of hand drawn cartography/illustrations and occasional photos (minor)

    The observations of the books conditions are obviously my own. If any questions, ask and I'll photo/cost/whatever
