I don't know if it is any good to you, but I have sheets of veneer laid up on 3mm thick plywood (2.4 x 1.2m) I don't have Silky Oak, but have Rock Maple, Myrtle, Tas Oak, Euro Beech, American Oak and a few other species here ($20/sheet). You would be most welcome to have a look if you are interested.

Solid doors would be nice.. but i havent got a saw bench to cut them properly. Ill think on it.

Have got it in one piece paperback or 2 pieces non paperback.
Paperback is easier.
