Default Woodfast 14" Bandsaw Single & Three Phase Australian Made Motors

Up for grabs is a 14" Woodfast bandsaw. The bandsaw has a throat depth of 13.75" inches wide and 7" high. This is an Australian made item with a solid cast body and enclosed steel base. The bed is 378 x 378 mm cast iron, it is good condition with no surface rust, and some minor scratches.

The rubber tires are in good condition and have lots of life left in them.

The bandsaw was fitted with a brand new Australian made GMS 240V single Phase 1HP Motor 1410rpm. The bandsaw also comes with its original three phase motor. I was told that the three phase motor worked but I cannot confirm that, so I am throwing it in for free, if you want it. Currently the bandsaw does have a 2 meter cord that runs directly from the motor to the wall power point, so you turn it on and off at the wall, however a router table safety switch can easily fit it you like.

I took possession of the Woodfast Bandsaw a few months ago, I stripped it, cleaned and polished the components. I replaced the motor with the single phase GMC and then cut about 10 meters worth of timber with it. Since then it has been sitting idle, and while it has been fun working on it, it is really extra to my needs at the moment.

I would like to get $400 for the machine, this is just to cover my costs. You are welcome to drop in and have a look and test it out if you like, I life in Coburg. Prefer direct bank deposit and pick up only.
