Hope it's true, getting ever harder to find good or even passable saw files at any price. Have you ever used the Corinox files? They claim hardness ~> 70.

I picked up some Cooper 6" XX slim's recently that work pretty well. DOM's in the mid-1990's. I've used some, they work much longer than do more recent Nicholson's and they ran me $1.50 per. Hardness at the tip was ~63-65 HRC.
