Default IKEA and Bunnings - Stock levels

Finally got the ok to sort out the shed with some nice shelving.

Off to IKEA and spent ages picking out a metal shelving system, finally made it down to put it on the trolly. Stacked all the big bits and last of all looked for the shelving brackets........ Not one in sight, finally got some help and matter of factly told oh they should be here in 16 weeks time........
Left it all on the trolley and went home.

Next day at Bunnings same thing but this time the shelves themselves where missing. Told they only have what is on show...............

If they cant provide what they advertise maybe a note to say so before you waste your time perhaps??????

Gunna do what I should have in the first place and build some nice wooden shelves.

PS How come the Friday pages are so short? Hardly any over 10 pages? Has the drivel dried up guys?????????

I have been caught out many times at Bunnys with stock-outs. Don't know what sort of a system they have. At one stage they were out of a particular grade of sandpaper for weeks. Finally approached a bloke who decided to have a look around. Found it in a box at the top of the metal racking. So item was in stock - just no one interested in stocking the shelf for weeks.

If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."
