    I feel your pain. I usually set up stops, but even that has led to six pieces 10mm short!

    I know the pain.
    Building an aluminum fence that was powder coated. Client wanted a different color so I painted enough lengths to do the fence. On site each length was cut down in pairs. Miss read tape measure and cut two, too short. Had to use two unpainted lengths and paint after installation.

    I also know the pain. Morticed both ends of a rail, then had to cut a recess in between. Went to lunch and came back. Brain fade and the first cut went the full length, straight through the mortises!
