    Ouch.....
But if it's in good condition it may be worth it.

This is a link to the current model 102 VM-CF
SCHAUBLIN MACHINES SA - 102 N-VM-CF | Tours conventionnels de haute précision

Last time I asked, the price for the wooden bench mounted model was just shy of $40K. That was of course without any accessories (but with tailstock). It is one of the most desirable manual precision lathes in its size.

That is why I would say the $7,500 is fair, provided it has been looked after and is not worn out too much. But it sure hurts seeing the lifting chain on the pictures. A careful inspection is an absolute must. She may be worth anything between 4k and 12k depending on condition. No worries, I will not compete on this, its way beyond my means.

EDIT: keep in mind Schaublin accessories are very expensive.

Assuming the machine was in good condition it is a fair price. I can't recall how much the ex SIN one finished up selling for in NZ, but someone here probably remembers. A set if W20 collets alone (as used by this machine) is currently selling in the US for US$1000 and I have no doubt they will get that price. A lot of the value in a used 102 is in the accessories that come with it, as the range available is both extensive and expensive.
