Brush Cutter Question
I just bought a new brush cutter, the handle has an arm coming out the side.
Can anyone tell me what is the purpose of this arm and which side it goes on - the manual has it on the right but the picture on the box has it on the left.
Thanks

I believe it’s called a safety barrier bar if it’s a Stihl. Hedge trimmers have them as well

This is a tradetools own brand brush cutter.
The size of my yard I could get by with electric but I spend more time messing around with extension leads than doing the actual work so I went petrol.
