    Default flowering time

The Leptospermums and Callistemons are going gangbusters at the moment and as a result so are the insects and birds.

I have a callistemon which seems to be on it's last legs. It has the most beautiful deep burgundy coloured flowers, hopefully I'll get a photo posted soon. After it flowers I'll take some cuttings and with luck get some to keep up the good work,

Good try Arron, but no Kewpie doll for you. It's a Buddleja Globosa, or orange ball tree. I think they call the Buddleja tree the butterfly tree. About this time of year the various Buddleja that we have, are covered in butterfies.
