    Default Phaeleanopsis

All my Phaeleanopsis Orchids are in full bloom at the moment
Very tricky to grow in that they really need the humidity to perform at their best
    Certainly among my favorite Orchids
    Here's a few pics...MM

Very nice, and you are fortunate to be able to grow something like that.

When my wife and I did a big trip around the Qld tropics a few years ago I thought I would be seeing orchids being grown in people's gardens everywhere. In fact I think I saw a couple of vandas and that was about it. I don't understand why - maybe they aren't as easy to grow in the tropics as I had imagined, or maybe its just that thing where we want what is exotic and unreachable and may not value the same thing when it is unremarkable.

    cheers
