Default 12 Days of Christmas Quilt

    Hello Everyone.

I have decided to make another quilt for the Bowling Club to raffle.

This is the 12 Days of Christmas.

I have already made 2 - 12 Days of Christmas Quilts for my family - so I have some patterns I have drawn for reference

The pictures are the First 2 panels - A partridge in a pear tree and Two Turtle Doves. I am trying to make this a very colourful quilt

    Bye for now

    Cathie

Cathie can you keep us updated with your progress? I have 3 sisters who have a great passion(sorry that word is used too often) for needle work, knitting and machine sewing all sorts of stuff. Our mother, for Christmas one year, saw in a shop window "Anny Oakley" outfit. 2 of the sisters are twins and were then may be 10? Mum couldn't afford to buy the out fits so she made her own. Mum when she was younger worked for a while for a slipper maker. I am not sure where she got her skills from but she was always making clothes for us kids.

I was very brave today.....my wife took me inside Spotlight....I needed a stud to fix up my jeans. For women Spotlight is a Bunnings. You name it they have it. Secretly I also wanted to see what is available in acrylic paints for air brushing
    Just do it!

    Kind regards Rod

    Chambezio,

I am Cathie's husband. We went to Bunnings today - but then we had to go to Lincraft - (like Spotlight) and got some material for her quilt. I don't mind going to Spotlight they do have some good stuff for out in the shed. (paintbrushes etc).

I also help her look for the different materials for the quilt - doing something together and it's pretty good.

Hope you find the stuff you are looking for at Spotlight

    Regards

    Keith

Kieth, its not the first time I have been in there a-n-d I have gone in there a-l-o-n-e. But it was alright because as I walked past the checkout girl I asked permission to enter without the wife. I was very brave!

There were a few unaccompanied men too, but looking quite lost
    Just do it!

    Kind regards Rod

    Hello everyone,

I have been working on my third panel of my "12 Days of Christmas" quilt.

3 French hens - added a little Eiffel Tower in the corner to give it a "French" look.

    Bye for now
