Marble lifter
I saw one of these on a You Tube Video and thought it would be a good exercise in Sketch Up. I managed to build one from the drawings I made although had to alter a couple of things along the way. The Sketch Up drawing is now up to date and I have posted below a couple of images from the Sketch Up file.
The actual final model has the addition of exterior fitted dowels on the butt joints. The mechanism is quite smooth to operate.

Here is a short video of the marble staircase. This is made to the sketch up drawings that were drawn. It is a fairly simple build from pine.
