Default 1946 Durden Junior Table saw Free to Good Home. VIC

1946 Durden Junior Table saw Free to Good Home. VIC

I have available a cast iron Durden Junior table saw on a compact but sturdy wooden frame with one adjustable foot on one leg. It uses approx 250mm blades and has a mitre slot and angle adjustable feeder for mitres, there is also a fence incorporating fine adjustment. On the side is a ~160 diam sanding disc with a 160x160 height adjustable work steady.
The shaft spins freely, the cast iron is rust free, (has been oil rubbed occassionally) the table lift strut works for when changing blades and the legs frame is sturdy and painted.

The electric motor requires service or replacement, it appears to be 1 to 1.5 hp. It is easily removed to facilitate handling of the table saw.

It was purchased new in 1946 and has been used to build one house and two boats and many smaller projects.
It is available Free to good home and can be collected from Kew, Melbourne Victoria.

I can deliver within reasonable distance for time and fuel.
