Default Very old belt drive cutterblock

I am sorting through my late uncle's and grandfather's tools. Amongst my grandfather's collection is a very old belt drive cutterblock.
It is a two bladed version, one of which is broken. The complete blade is 310mm long whilst the broken (I presume broken) is only 265mm. The cutterblock is 315mm long with a diameter of 105mm. The shaft is 35mm diameter and 670mm overall length. The belt pulley is 120 x 70.
As you can see in the photos it is rusty but I think it should clean up OK.
    Located in Williamstown, Victoria.
Happy to see it go to someone that can use it.

Looks like the blade mechanism from a. Planer. Are there any other parts associated with that ?

A very Interesting and somewhat confusing bolt pattern around the trip breaker.
All tools can be used as hammers

Yes, definitely from a planer. I suspect that my grandfather got it for the right price (aka free) and had ideas about making up his own planer/jointer. He already had a table saw and bandsaw that were belt driven and ran from an old motorcycle engine. There were no other obvious parts from a planer
