Top of 30 tomorrow in Ballarat
Plenty of water and fluids available
    Still no scotch
But can confirm champagne has arrived.

May I be bold and ask if someone could bring a couple of bags of ice please

    Cheers Matt

All the best for tomorrow. I think all will go well assuming "The Ice Man Cometh."

Paul, that is waaaay to close to the reason that I edited the earlier post confirming what type of "ice" than I care to think about.

Long story that was funny as, but probably would get me banned here...

    Cheers

Not the dreaded carpenter's knee? Simon has that. Hope you are feeling better. I expect it will still take wild horses to keep you away. maybe somebody else can do the driving.

Ice nowadays has a lot to answer for, but my reference i hope would not arouse any ire.

"The Iceman Cometh" was a play by the American, Eugene O'Neil, first performed in 1947 (I had to look that bit up). It transpires that the character they are waiting for, the iceman, confesses on his arrival to murdering his wife. I had hoped that all this was nothing to do with being one woman down.
