Sorry Gents, its not going to happen for me. My Victoria and Tasmania visits will have to line up with the Lost Trades Fair at Kyneton in March instead

I found this weather forecast up to the day of the GTG. If that is the day we get it should be a nice day, not too hot, winds calm and no rain. Fingers crossed.
Day Temperature Weather Feels Like Wind Humidity Chance Amount UV Sunrise Sunset Tue
11 Oct8 / 13 °C Morning clouds. 10 °C 25 km/h ↑ 58% 22% - 5(Moderate) 6:41 AM 7:34 PM Sun
23 Oct7 / 23 °C Mostly sunny. 25 °C 4 km/h ↑ 41% 0% - 5(Moderate) 6:24 AM 7:45 PM I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

Yes, from the same weather site about the same day 24 hours later:
Sun
23 Oct10 / 17 °C More sun than clouds. 17 °C 5 km/h ↑ 58% 10% - 5(Moderate) 6:24 AM 7:45 PM
So it has changed a lot in a short time but we can live in hope of a nice day and use it to promote the event, can't we? We all know we will get what we get on the day. Melbourne has no weather of its own. It relies on whatever the wind blows in.
Cheers

It is on this Sunday - not long to go now.
I am hoping for a fine, warm day but I have plenty of undercover area so we will be right even if it pours down rain. The event will proceed regardless of weather
We will be having home-made hamburgers for lunch, flavored with fresh herbs from our own gardens. Our local butcher provides very nice mince. We might even put out some of our home-made garlic bread too. This stuff is so good that a guest at a bbq here once cried because we were not putting out garlic bread that day.
If anyone has any objection to any of the following ingredients let me know and we can make a small modified batch to suit: beef mince, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, fresh herbs (mainly sage and rosemary), eggs, flour.
I will be PM'ing address to all confirmed and potential attendees in the next 24 hours. Anyone else who decides to come will be notified by individual PM. If anyone is bringing a partner or guest that I do not already know about please post it in the thread or notify me by PM.
Confirmed Attendees:
Doug3030 and Jools
Kevjed
Daisensai
Simplicity and Sally
Bohdan
A mystery guest who shall remain nameless
Robby Burns
Issatree
Simplicity's other ego
Expressed interest but not committed yet:
Gabriel
Sturdee
Looking forward to a great GTG
Cheers

Sorry Doug, although I would love to come I don't feel comfortable in driving much at the moment.
I get very tired in the afternoon and recently I started to have floaties in my right eye making concentration on highway driving too much.
So reluctantly I'm an apology.
Peter.
