Default Melbourne Forum GTG 27th August 2018 - say goodbye to Winter

We just held the July GTG at the Box Hill RSL.

We had seven people attend the meeting and the dinner beforehand which was a great turnout for a cold windy Winter's night.

After a tasty bistro dinner we moved to the lounge to tell stories and share our successes, swapped some timber and generally had a great evening.

Come and join us for the "Farewell to Winter" GTG at 7.00pm on Monday 27th of August at the Box Hill RSL.

Some of us meet an hour earlier to have dinner at the Bistro. If you wish to join us for a meal please let us know in this thread so that we can book a large enough table. Otherwise turn up at 7.00pm in the lounge.

Meals are around $20 to $35 or less if you have a Seniors card. Its a cheap night out and partners are welcome.

This will be the last week of Winter. Warm weather is on the way. Come out and join us and get inspired by like-minded people to get a flying start into your warm weather woodworking.

Bring something to show off or swap or share if you want.

    Cheers

    Doug

It's a pity that I don't get back to Melbourne for a week til the week after the GTG. You guys have a good one though.

We are driving back from Batemans Bay the day of the GTG and will be timing our journey to call in for dinner in the bistro and the meeting. Better than getting home and having to cook.

Anyone want to join us for dinner?

Monday 24 September is the last Monday of the month and is only six days away. Are we having a GTG at Box Hill?

Guys, we seem to have jumped to a old thread here. Looks like Pagie got so excited about being "forced" to go fishing he posted in the wrong thread.
