    Default what type of wood is this?

    Im looking to buy this wood burl but the owner is unsure of what type of wood it is, would anyone know?

    Hi and welcome to the forum.
    Very hard to tell with burl. If it is dense and heavy then likely one of the eucalyptus species. If it was locally cut then that would narrow down the field and matching the wood colour may get you close. Anyhow if you like the look of it does it really matter.
