It'd be the only thing I've put on the boat recently without charge then

I'll hear your chuckle and raise you a registration. She's officially got a number now, so has the trailer. I think I've given birth. So indulge me I'm suffering for our craft....

Well congratulations Dad you beat the bureaucracy well done and I hope you don't have too many sleepless nights or teething problems.
Are you close enough to put the bubbly on ice for the big day.

Thanks Mike. Down to forestay, shrouds and deck fittings, cleats etc, then finishing the trailer wiring etc etc. Also making a nice little tiller extension out of oregon and teak. A week or two? Don't really know. Wish I did!

Tiller extension. I copped out and am using a Ronstan SS fixing, but have modified the pin to make it easier to disconnect. Not a very good shot; very difficult to illustrate such a long thin thing. That's why I look so bad in photos. It is turned from oregon and teak, handle 'bulb' will be left raw teak, the shaft has its first coat of Goldspar in this shot, so looks a bit wooly. The white stripe is masking tape. The wood is off-cut from deck and deck beams.

The forum won't let me give you a greenie Rob.

Richard I'm sure all the members and watchers of the forum sincerely hope that your situation begins to improve very soon.
There will be hundreds of us from all sorts of places in all directions wishing and hoping that you beat this and get back to that huge pile of plywood in your shed. If that isn't possible straight away, then I hope Devlin's Surf Scoter plans become your blanket until it is
