cetol over timber with sikaflex joints
I just coated my new timber deck with sikkens cetol natural teak and its has dried nicely on the timber if a bit dark but I don't mind that. Unfortunately on the sikaflex 291 filled joints it hasn't dried after a week and has left a sticky mess of light oil consistency . It looks like the solvent has gone and left the tint along with the oil. Can anyone help on how I can recover the finish.

I have seen this before and do not understand myself as to why.
The Sika being a polyurethane should not cause streaking like silicone based products would.
Look forward to reading what the 'gurus' comeback with on this one.

Found the answer after several phone calls On some types of sikaflex such as the laid deck filler as opposed to the sikaflex adhesive/sealant one that I tested the sikaflex neutralises the hardener in the sikkens so it stays sticky. the best they could advise is wiping off with a rag and turps or similar. Lesson is be careful with sikkens and sikaflex
