Fastening transom and quarter knees.
I have just epoxied the quarter knees and transom knee into position. My question is do I really need to screw or bolt them also. The transom knee is laminated ply and the quarters are hardwood. I have a lot of confidence in the epoxy job and would normally screw them as well but by the time I get the gunwale rub strips on there will be quite a few screws in the gunwales where the knees are now epoxied into place and I don't want to overload the
area with screws.
I have attached some pics. for reference.
