    Default Learning curve

Having just completed building a western red cedar canoe and boy what
a learning curve it was does this mean i can say i have built a wooden boat
I read an earlier post that boats seem to name themselves and this one did
On Cloud Nine due to the milky (moisture in epoxy) look that it has
looks just like clouds. Have not launch it yet trying to get time of the more required time killer ie work This forum has given me valuable info in this project
and now looking to the next build. This time in S.A. instead of N.T. where i
have built my SHED instead of building on the back porch and poerating from a 20 foot sea containerhttp://cdn.woodworkforums.com/http://cdn.woodworkforums.com/images/smilies/mf_wink.gif

Thanks for the pics Rob, and I hope you have as much fun using her as you did building her....but why am I not surprised that you are already planning the next??
She looks to be a lovely boat. Congratulations on a wonderful effort. Hope we see some pics of her getting wet.

    Hi Rob,
I've somehow managed to miss your posts since the first one on this boat - she's turned out really well.

Are you near Adelaide or in country SA? Would be good to meet up when the local "squadron" has another day at West Lakes.

    Default Canoe @ westlakes

Sorry left message unfinished fat fingered button. As i was saying
building in Moonta Bay and new to Adelaide and guess West Lakes is
a suburb of Adelaide. So if i can make the trip to West Lakes when
we move down 2011 and the invite is still open would love to be therehttp://cdn.woodworkforums.com/images/smilies/actions/2thumbsup.gif
