I should be able to finish stripping the old paint from Petrel this weekend. I have a couple of questions someone might be able to help with.
The plan is to mount a bulkhead to support the mast partner and small deck at the bow and another bulkhead aft for a place to sit and a hidey hole for the old seagull outboard.
Firstly, all the inside is to be epoxied then painted. Do I leave the boat for a week of two to re-establish a natural moisture content or do I plow right in and epoxy all in sight? Should I leave "pathways" of unepoxied timber where later, I will glue and fillet the bulkheads to the hull?
Lastly does west epoxy bind one layer to another well, if the first layer is allowed to go "off".

Hi Petrel
I would plow right in. The moisture content will make insignificant difference to the epoxy work. It is OK to leave some area for the BH glue job if you want but it is just as easy to sand the area required after the event especially if you leave the original coat/s to go off as you need to sand everything back anyway.
