Traditional timber boats in Vietnam
Hi Guys,
It's a long while since I did any boat building myself, or even sailing for that matter, but when I was over in Vietnam I couldn't stop my self from nosing around a few boatyards.
They are still building new boats by traditional methods. Even to the extent of using timber trenails for fixing planks.
Check my band saw post for the only real bit of machinery that they seem to use apart from hand power tools.
Cheers
Bill
