the bow is based on northern european fishing boats
the stern is based on part admiralty m f v's, part med fishing boats,to part a following sea
the deeper freeboard is to take the sudden severe weather that can blow up in the med, & to keep the children safe
the shallow draught is to take the beach
it has an outboard hung rudder to take a tiller, for ease of construction , rather than a wheel , & in case i rig it
we will use it as a day boat with watertight cockpit, seats around the picnic engine box & raised foredeck, with a little fwd cabin

Howdy Peter,
Where you have a choice can you keep image sizes down under the normal width of the page. It makes the page messy and the controls hard to reach if big images are put in place.
Some of the photo servers do give a choice of different size images to link to.
Not a biggie, but helps the format of the pages. I might have an easy method to resize in a moment ... just checking. I found a couple of types of code that are supposed to work ... but they don't.
Best wishes

Hmm ... all I was able to find is that inline images over 800x600 or vice versa will be removed by the admins.
Best wishes

OOPS ... that was me trying to get the image size down - I was editing your post. I think that code I tried and forgot to delete is disallowed on this forum because it didn't work!

howdy Peter,
I have a 1024 pixel wide screen and it is off to the right by about 25 to 30% of the pic.
Just something to be aware of.
