Default Herring dingy design by Ira Einsteen

Hi all, I have just built the above 12 foot dingy and am very impressed with its shape and performance. Only took me 60 hrs all up to build, including the jig. Total cost to pre painting under $200. Has anyone else built one?
Weighs 40kg in 6mm marine ply. Does 30kph with me with an 8hp o/b, 27kph 2 up and 24kph with 3 people aboard. It really rows well as a bonus 018.jpg015.jpg001.jpgcheers !!

    Good Job Bullo.

I looked at this design many years ago,but didn't have a need for it.

His 'double paddle Dory' also looks well thought out.
