Thread: Slippery slope?

No good Mark, I weigh 92kgs on a good day.
She'd sit too low in the water and be real twitchy, also no secondary stability, you know how it is with these flat bottom designs, plus where'll the grandkids sit with their little paddles. It'd be worse than a polo kayak I tried once, I was just too heavy to be comfortable in it. And eternity is a long time to be uncomfortable. Better go back to the lightweight wooden "tinnie"idea.
Also I sent you an email today before I noticed you'd sent me one yesterday.Cheers
Jim

Whisp side planks already constructed
Hi Caliban,
I've plans for the Whisp and made up the sides, and changed my mind.
The really simple construction with a couple of overlapped planks and a bit of stick is amazingly strong.
Anyway, you can have them. It'd be nice to have them go to a good home.
I'm in Brissie but regularly visit Iluka way ...
Mail me and I'll send pics if you are interested.

Scrub my rowboat ... not really suitable for an outboard. Add my punt (11ft) or look at Bolger's crazy Skimmer (my punt is an 11ft version with lots of built in Buoyancy) or Bee. The Bee does row OK but both are 8ft boats that go with low power ... both can just carry two and some fitsh. I mean fish and be an easier lift onto a car roof. Build out of better quality materials than Bolger suggests though!
Any of us can help with item 7.

I'm sorry for having difficult requirements, that's why I included item 7, especially as a precursor to item 8.
Seems I am not alone in thinking item 7 was called for as punishment for opening this can (sorry, wooden container encased in glass) of worms.
Thanks to all who offered suggestions and humour to the thread.
I, for one have learned lots and enjoyed the process, and that's why we are members of this forum.Cheers
