Nice looking cat. Is this your first build ?
How far into the build are you ? I'm guessing you have a bit of undercovered space available.

    First sizeable build.....

I would have liked something with a bridgedeck... but working on that. Only have the building jig cut at this stage, have started drawing up bulkheads ready to cut..... Undercover space is still an issue to be sorted The plan is to basically do all the cutting out over winter ready for hopeful assembly over summer

    Plans for 7.3 catamaran

nice boat by the looks, but while it can be put on a trailer; I would not personally class it as a trailersailer.

I don't think anythink this size is really a trailer sailer, my intention is to build a small bridgedeck similar to the smaller double shuffle Ray designed.

The trouble is in this size all the designers assume trailability is a must...

Are you meaning to put a bridgedeck on the bigger cat? or build the double shuffle?
The double shuffle looks way to narrow on the beam for me. The modern multi-hull cat has an astounding turn of speed, no point crippling it to fit on a trailer; + the stability in rough conditions also looses out. I'd stick to a mono-hull rather than build a narrow cat. But seeing as how I'm building nothing maybe a narrow cat would be better (than nothing).

Sorry yes building the larger FIsh and Chips but adding a bridgedeck. I agree, no point in loosing most of the advantages of a cat (from a cruising point of view!) by trying to make it narrow to fit on a trailer!

Thanks Hubcap, will put one in for sure. Good to hear from someone who has sailed one, I had hoped for something fun and quick in a breeze. Just gotta start
