65mm Cove Cornice in Canberra
Does anyone know where I can source a small length (<300mm) of 65mm cove cornice in Canberra? It seems that the only sizes the big chains have (including Gyprock) are 55mm, 75mm and 90mm.
While I'm not a cornice expert, I'm pretty sure the size is 65mm - it could be 2 1/2 in, but as the house was built in 1971, I suspect it's in the new money.
Thanks,
Bulli

Not sure 65mm is around, all I see is 55 and 90mm.
You could wander around Gungahlin and see if there is an offcut to be had on a new house going up. Could also go to Boral in Fyswick, prob have a damaged length lying around you'd get for zich.Cheers

Found any yet?
I might still have some lying around from a dividing wall I removed last year (not sure of the cornice size, will have to check, but its from a 1970s built home so it might match).
PM me if you havnt found it and I will have a hunt around in the roof for you (I think thats where I put it )

Thanks Joel
Yep, after quite a bit of asking around, someone suggested Modern Plaster in Queanbeyan. Had to buy 3600mm of it, but you never know - it might come in useful one day.
