I got to see the Portuguese caravel in lakes entrance 4 weeks ago, before he came down there.
Saw it on the docks and took a few pics, but found out when he was leaving and walked to the entrance to film him leave thru the channel. Once they left the channel they fire a blank cannon.
They were all dressed in their porate gear as well.

    Was good display.

I used to exhibit my model ships there (the Sydney one) and I got free tickets for the family and the outlaws.

Do they still do exhibition for model ships?

Yes, there were a lot of model ships on display, but I don't have any photos of them.

Thumbs up Terrific photographs that bring back memories.

I was in Tasmania about four years ago and went for a sail on a tall ship and it was an experience that I will never forget. Looking at your photos and especially the Viking longship which sailed here from Russia is mind boggling. It makes you think about the bravery of the early explorers and how far they went in such little ships. Thanks for rekindling the memories.
