    Default Gardner diesel enginerooms.

This GardGardner 8LXB.jpgGardner 8LXB1.jpgGardner8LXB2.jpgGardner8LXB3.jpgner and its engine room look pretty special to me , so I thought I'd share.
It is from a wood charter fishing boat.

    My favorite is the L3.
Here is the first L3 ever made , still working in a converted Scottish fishing boat.

Gee I am glad I never had to work on boat motors, my boats had sails.

So did mine , and an engine .
But when you can no longer sail you either stay off the water , or get a motor boat.
If you get a motor boat , get something with character .

I built several boats with Gardners. The say was that if you had a Gardner you could weld the engine room door shut.

    No way Trev !.
One of the advantages of owning a boat with a Gardner , is being able to watch the thing working !.
