    Default Access to metalwork forum.

I can log-in to WW Forum OK, but when I go to the metalwork forum it asks for a log-in to look
at attachments/photos etc but won't accept my log-in details. Do I have to register separately
for that forum. Sorry for being so dumb.

I got the same when it first started. I registered separately and used the same details to log in and it works. Not really sure if everyone had to do that. Maybe it’s the correct way. It did not carry over the ‘Post Count’.

MW forums was originally part of WW forums so both were accessible from a single login. When they were split and MW obtained it's own identity, the user database with everyone's user name and password from the combined forum was copied and used as an initial user database for MW forums. However the two forums have operated separate user databases since, so if you enrolled in the WW forum after the separation, you would have to specifically enrol into MW forum as well to have full access to it, or vice versa.
I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.
