Default A little bit sick of it.

    Hi to You All,
All of a sudden I'm having trouble with having to Sign in All The Time.
It will not hold the " Remember Me " bit.
So I've had 3 goes at it & 3 times it wants my User Name then Password
    R/Me. & Log In.
Is anybody else having the same happening ?????.
    Regards,
    issatree.

    All ok for me.

Perhaps a clearing of the cache, history etc may be a good place to start and then try again.

I've no problem it remembers me. The settings on your security/firewall may be the cause. Now dont ask me for the fix as I usually refer to the younger generations for my IT solutions.

If you are running CC cleaner, check your settings, it will wipe remembered passwords or if you do have it or similar program and have it configured to daily cleaning then that could be your problem also.

The browser might be dumping all history, cookies etc on exit. If the cookies are set to be dumped (check browser settings) then you will have to log in each time. Try another browser and see if it has the same behaviour?

Mine does the same on firefox and I need to log in all the time but not IE, then again on firefox the facebook password is retained and I don't need to log in all the time. The other issue for me is that on IE while not having to log in all the time I can't look at pictures sometimes and typing a post or reply can take forever with missing characters.

I use Firefox and it remembers all logins I want it to remember.

Go to Options->Security and tick Remember logins for sites

You can also set Exceptions for this.

IE is a PITA to use.

In IE, try setting woodworkforums.com web page to display in compatibility mode, should fix it.

    Default Hello???.

Must have frightened the hell out of it, maybe thought it might lose it's job.
So all of a sudden it is behaving it's self, hasn't missed once.
Thank you all for your replies.

    Hi,
Just remember computers do not know every thing, they only think they do.
