Open the picture first in a separate window and then copy that URL. Insert that URL (using the insert image button) in your pm and the picture will appear when received by the receiver.

Thanks for that Peter, I take it that the URL, is the name/title of the pic?

The other way to do it is to copy the BB Code and paste that. It's located to the bottom right when you open the pic from your album (directly underneath the URL that Sturdee refers to).

That is actually my preferred method for putting pics in posts as well, as it displays them nicely.

FF this assumes the picture is already on the web somewhere.
If its on your computer I don't think it will work.
I think you have to load it up onto the web somewhere first - your WWF album is as good a place as any.

Not quite Kryn, the URL is the web page address of the window in which you opened the picture.

Each window that you open has an address like "https://www.woodworkforums.com/f152/private-rust-vault-211860#post2006642 " a picture copied from Simplicity's thread.
