Mc1100 lathe help
I'm replacing the pulleys on my mc1100 lathe. I have encountered a problem. The flange on the spindle pulley that sits in the bearing has snapped off in the bearing. I can't for the life of me work out how to get it out. Any help would be much appreciated

Can you post a picture or a diagram? Is this the diagram? If so, in which bearing is the shaft broken and can you get the what's left of the shaft and bearing into your hand.

Yep that's the one. Pulley 9 is broken in bearing 11. Yes I can get a hold of it.

So it's not shaft 33 thats goes through bearing 11 that's snapped?

No it's the back part of the pulley itself. It slides over the shaft and sits inside the bearing . I'm not sure how to put up a photo from my phone either unfortunately.. I've removed most other parts around it and tried levering, hitting etc. was thinking maybe heat? Or maybe just drill it out

It looks like bearing 11 is held inside item 12 by 2 circlips. So the broken part of the pulley is inside the bearing? As long as there's no circlips (c clips) holding the broken part in the bearing it should press out. Where abouts in Sydney are you?

Campbelltown mate a bit far from you. I've gotten the front circlip off. I saw the one on the back. Had a bit of a go at it. May be worth another look. Thanks for your thoughts mate I'll keep you posted

Back on! I drilled it out and got the new one on and we are away. So happy 👍
