Have you tried giving your computer / laptop / ithingy / etc a cold boot ? (i.e. power off, wait about 1 minute and turn back on)

You do not get them on your own posts, they are for others to respond lazily.

As others have said, you won't see this bar on your own posts.

If you cannot see them on posts from other people, have you tried logging in and checking using https://www.woodworkforums.com

You might be seeing an issue based on your browser and a secure connection to the site (i.e. https://www.woodworkforums.com)

My browser says not secure so you might be onto something MM...thanks to everyone who have replied thus far...MM

Now this is the only one of my posts in this thread that has a Post Thanks/Like bar displayed at the bottom of the post ,so Hugh must be right ....crikey...MM
