Default 21 years old Huon dining setting.

Made this setting 21 years ago.
Even had a picture of it printed in the "Australian Woodwork" magazine in their gallery page at the time which I was chuffed about.
Table is refectory type and easily dismantle able.
    Table top is one board.
Note the scaled up finger on chair leg, got a chuckle out of doing that.
Other legs had a sort of "musical instrumenty" inspired design as its always irked me that I am a musical illiterate, dunce, no hoper.
Made 1 other complete setting soon after, with a kind of insecty inspired theme.
They are lots of work and hard to sell.
Tend to just make individual chairs these days when there is a definite order and deposit.
Anyway, if someone enjoys the picture....."good o". Click on it to enlarge.

Quirky and interesting, I can see had it would have been fun to build, I like it for its quirkiness

A very interesting piece and it takes some skills to make a piece like this. Well done sir.

lots of work, skill and time spent. Its a shame its hard to sell, because it all should be rewarded more. I have similar issues sometimes with some of my pieces.

That leg shaped like a finger is a lot of fun.

    thanks for showing.

Thank you for posting this photo. I would have missed the issue 21 years ago.
