    Default Phone table

Here is a phone table I made to accommodate the telephone and phone books. It is made of Aust red cedar. I also made a tray in the drawer to keep the notes/post-it and pencils tidy. Well, for the first week at least and the girls will jam it with junk.

The finish is a coat of Ubeaut hard shellac as sealer and 3 coats of linseed oil/tung oil/poly (1 third, 1 third, 2 third ) mix.

    I hope you like it.

    Hi Wongo,

Yet another beautiful quality job. Well done. Really like the dovetail proportions and layout. Sweet.

    Thanks for the photos.

    It looks good Wongo.
    Nice neat lines.

Your dovetail skill shows up well with the contrast of timbers.

That mix gives a lovely sheen to the timber.
    I might try those proportions!!

Beautiful job Wongo, especially the fine dovetails. You can't do that with a machine.

Scott, the photo's don't do it justice. It looks better in the flesh. Well done.
