    Default 30 minute trophy

A quick trophy I whipped up tonight(30 min!) for a work mate to present to another work mate who's retired after 42 years of service... he was a boiler maker(explains the welder cable clamp!)
Will have a brass engraved name plate made for it tomorow and the clamp will be polished and lacquered to finish it off.
Unsure on the lump of wood all I know its bloody hard and heavy, Its not jarrah could it be karri?
The finish is 1 coat of ubeaut dewaxed white and 2 coats ubeaut hard shellac. Would you believe the chrome shaft the clamp is sitting on is a router's depth stop bar... has a nice flat spot on it for the clamp bolt to grip!
