Artist Easel for my girl
G'day mates,
This is recently completed project. Timber is Tassie Oak recycled from a friend's old kitchen which I help tear down.
I apologise for the small pictures. The easel is about 1.7m tall. Joinery for the 'A' frame is basic half-lap bridle.
The bottom platform can be adjustable to 4 different heights secure from behind with a wedge. I figure that should cover most uses. These's a holder on top which slides up and down, held in place with a wedge.
The 3rd leg is a basic "T" shaped with M-T joinery, secured to the frame via a pair of brass hinges. Frame and 3rd leg "split" held via some thin fiber rope. I hope to upgrade this to some recycle leather.
It was intended to motivate my girl as she's taking painting classes but it is now only holding a whiteboard.
Cheers
Gunn
