Beautiful work mate ,i think camphor is a very underated timber,.....tell me how did you join the turned posts to the gables(sides)?

What a beautiful job you've done of it! I've not seen Camphor wood in anything bigger than a pen blank before. It's quite an amazing effect when made into a chest.

Super work on the chest Cruzi!! Wonderful design too!!
I don't know what you had in the way of stock to choose from but the timber is chosen is beautifully suited to the job. Not over decorative but with really interesting figure.

Lovely design and craftsmanship, Cruzi. I particularly noted your "hybrid" drawer fronts to give a traditional appearance to modern engineering.
With regard to the drawer runners, what brand did you finally chose? Would you use that brand next Time?
