Bloody good job there. My comments:
- If you don't like the back, change it! Otherwise it will always annoy you.
- Don't worry about it attracting dings etc from use. nothing hoses me off more than seeing a gorgeous dining table covered in grotty plastic or rugs. How do you think wonderful antiques ganied their 'patina' of wear? Use it as you want to.
- I think that a dark or clear filler would have been better too. Change this too, if you want.
