Child's table and chair - Why I bought a Domino
Rather than buy a present for my nephew's first birthday, I decided to build something that my last a little longer than the latest plastic creation.
Must admit that the number of mortises and tenons I had to complete really started to take their toll and my mind kept on wandering ..... why haven't you got a Domino yet?......
Oh and to be perfectly clear, this is not an anti Festool post, so hopefully I wont get any more reddies from the Fesfool club president.
Anyway in my haste I didnt take any final photos of the finished chair.

Hi Boban,
Beautiful work and beautiful tenons. Can't see the mortises though. I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated, especially since it was made by "Unca Boban."
But why raise the Domino? Isn't this about a project, not a tool? Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. And I don't recall sending any reddies your way.
Keep doing as you want to do.

Hi Stuart,
No one. It clearly says Fesfool club. I think that's me.

It's not you.
Every word I posted is true.
This piece prompted me to buy the Domino. It was the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak. I love the Domino and Festool products generally, but I cannot handle the attitude of some folk who get so defensive of any perceived criticism of some of the Festo practices.
I have no problem with people buying Festo products just because they want to. Nothing wrong with that. Each to their own but some people will have you believe that Festool will get you to the moon.
