Christmas present
Thought I'd post a quick pic or two of a christmas present I just finished. No WIP pics sorry.
It's a cheese/general food platter, made from jacaranda (Thanks Mapleman) and some old jarrah offcuts. Beautiful grain in the jaca. Light as a feather too. Legs are hand-drawn curves, cut on the bandsaw and finished with a disc/belt sander. Everything sanded back to 1200, then finished with Ubeaut food-safe finish, and cut back with EEE wax to give a bit of shine.
