    SeanR,

    MMAAAATTEE, a man after my own heart. After looking at all those american "shops" that have everything that opens and shuts, and it looks like none of the machinery has ever been used, and there is no sawdust or shavings on the floor, benches, walls or roof, and there is more wood in the shelves holding the wood stack than the stack itself , sanity prevails. I was beginning to feel very inferior.

    Sean,

    A true woodworker's shed. At least you're in Perth so the weather is conducive to a big open shed! Freezing my jewels off here in Melbourne.

    Any pics of output from the shed? Looks like you've got a good supply of wood there waiting to be converted into nice stuff.

    Enjoy the time in the shed.

    Is that a resprayed GMC thicknesser? It should be with your signature. Don't be ashamed of the brand....half the Forum members are buying them for $199 and living to tell the tale.

    The Ryobi thicknesser ($180) replaced the GMC one which lasted a zillion hrs... The timber is only odds and ends , have about 3-4 ton stored at home . Then shed is actually one that my father wasnt using , so i use it . Its attached to his business . I have a hobby business making mainly work benches out of pine . Easy to work with and keeps me busy ... Nothing fancy like the ones you see on here , just plain bench ... You can see mine in the pics at the back of the shed .

    Mate - looks like a real war zone! I spent the las 12 months working out of a 12' x 12' shed and had so little room that my stacked slabs were actually used as a work bench!

    Have to say that now I have some space it is nice to be able to walk around the current project without tripping over tools, scraps dogs, kids etc.

    At least your shed looks well used! No point in having the toys if you cant wear them out!
