Just in time and I bet your sister is thrilled. Anybody can go and buy a present but to make something for somebody it is special.
You have a good design and I like the routered edge on the top.
What is your next project?Cheers,
Rod

Hey
Thanks for the comments. not too many people have looked at my work I have another pic here. My next project is to build an internal shelving for my sister, this will be nothing special, is it will be unseen, so i will probably use pine studs (70 x 35 MGP10) worth about $1.72 a metre. if i stain it i will post the pics. I mightmake a tea tray to match the table. If you see the first pic i took you will see the white board in the background. this is my future brewing table, for brewing my fav drink ginger beer yum yum!Simmo :P

Hey Simmo
The coffee table looks great. Very nice gift.
By the way, I don't know if you were joking about brewing ginger beer, but if you weren't, I'd love to find out your recipe.

Simmo,
Keep those projects coming. Watch that ginger beer I brewed some once and nearly all of it exploded. One bottle went off and it seemed to set the rest of them off in one loud band. They were in a garden shed and it was a very hot day. Was told later that I should have used corks instead of crown caps.Cheers,
Rod

Nice one. I'm currently building up the courage to move up to actual furniture, probably something similar to yours.
You've inspired me.
and I've got a really good excuse to spend hours in the shed, my hand has just come out of a 10 weeks plaster cast so I need the therapy. )
