    Hi Corcorbear

Lovely boxes - great to see that you've been able to use it even with that 'feature' area

I like them both but if I had to choose I would pick the second one.Pictures from another angle would have been nice.

Goes to show there is no such thing as scrap timber, it remains "timber in waiting"!

Nice work, thank you for sharing it!

    I like that

Wonderful boxes Corcorbear. Excellent grain and colour.

I must say, I love the smell of teak as well.

    Cheers

    I've spotted 2 code violations!
Gratuitous inclusion of baby photo (beautiful photo though) and spotless workshop (the most serious violation!!)

great boxes, I love seeing 'scrap' timber coming to life!

Nice pair of boxes Corcorbear. FWIW, the first one is my favourite.

    G'day AlexS,
I like both boxes.and a good recycle.......(as a learner) your preference for the first box is of interest.
Is it just a personal preference/ technique/ finish.
    I'd be really interested.

    Thumbs up

I like the one with the gnarly bit in it - a bit like me - flaws have added some character and don;t come cheaply! thanks for the feedback.

    Hi Noel,
I think it's partly the wilder grain of the first box, but also, I think the way the edge of the bottom panel detracts a bit from the appearance of the 2nd.
