    Default cutting table

This is a cutting table I have just completed.

Its for the wifes craft room for her to cut material or whatever on.

The top table is 1300 long * 600 wide. With the 2 extension arms out, it is 1800 wide.

The table tops are melamine with jarrah edging. Frame is pine stained cedar. The bottom storage is 16mm mdf with black felt glued in.

Its nothing fancy, but it does the job. I just have to glue some tape measures onto the top and its all done.

    cheers

    RB

The Large one needs one of those. Did you use plans or design it yourself ?

My own design. with a few last minute adjustments, when some things didnt quite work

and yes the arms swing out.

It works quite well. I was cutting the felt on top of it, and the large work space was great. missus is very happy!

    Great design
Don't forget lockable castors, my wife insisted them on hers.
You could rebate on edge and insert a metal rule from the Big B Warehouse

Well done Redda's, been looking forward to seeing it finished. It's realy come up a treat

How are you gonna convince her that its better as a shed work table though?

Tell her you need it for a few days to draft the her sewing machine cabinet, overlock table the list goes on. You can then give her the Mark 11 version and get more praise.
