Desktop fly tying bench MK2 - in progress
Hi again,
current project nearly finished, rub back and wax then fit brassware and it's all done.
This one with two 300mm deep drawers, and double the width.
Similar timber style as the original design, but I've adjusted some of the sizes to get a slightly different effect. Also from feedback around the traps, wider to put more stuff on it and has turned bead holder (BH Sassafras) and turned fly "podium" out of Huon Pine.
Going to a prize winner in Melbourne for a fly tying comp I hosted.
Fair chance he'll be happy with the new addition.

Not into fly fishing - I usually swat or spay them.
Another fine piece of work.

Thanks guys for the feedback.
FUBAR, doesn't need to be pretty to be functional. But pretty does look good.
All finished, rubbed back with 0000 steel wool and a liberal coating of Organoil wax and polish. Buffed and now ready, I've added the brassware and it's off to the new home on Wednesday.
