    Unhappy dog was impressed

G'day all, I made one of these for my daughter a few months ago. I think it turned out pretty good.

Got a phone call last week," Daaaad, Layla (6 month old boxer pup) has chewed the cabinet you made!"
Went round and had a look , a bit annoyed that they left the dog inside unattended , but the damage is easily fixed.

Thankfully the apron of the cabinet was only screwed on and not glued.
At least now I know what I am doing today.
    Anyone else had this happen?
The hurrier I go, the behinder I get.

Had a similar problem with the neighbour's feral kid.

Not exactly but I do have a 2 yr old and a 6 yr old daughter. They don’t take care of the stuff I made like I do.

All the furniture in the house has pencil marks and scratches. I am used to it though. The furniture is there to be used.

    Tough luck Steve.

Our kids don't live at home and our pets have never ever damaged any of our furniture - even when they lie on it.

When you spend hours making something it is hard to remember that you relinquish ownership of it when you give it to someone. The dog was good that he was selective of what he chewed, not eating a variety of sections.

We tried chilli with our rottweiller, but found him to be sitting there licking it off. He loved it, but then again, he is one freaky boy!!

11years on and he still loves it! Bless him

The rods are all the "Spares". The rest are in my other shed, and frankly I dont get enough time to use them .
